for the talent show at work, christina, elisha, sue & i changed genders and became a boy band supergroup called sold out, performing a medley of boy band hits with of course some superhott moves.

i know quoi de neuf? has been a little quiet recently. okay, it's been more than quiet: it's been silent. i have been so busy with work and life and the vidcast, but that doesn't mean i haven't been wanting to write. hopefully things will slow down some soon, so i can get back to writing.

in case you're living under a rock and haven't heard, the pittsburgh steelers won the super bowl! they defeated the seattle seahawks 21-10. the steelers are now 1 of 3 teams in nfl history [along with the 49ers and the cowboys] to win the super bowl 5 times. since jerome bettis is probably now retiring, this was such a wonderful way to end his career: winning the super bowl in his hometown. and even though i really do wish i was in pittsburgh right now, i am still certainly very happy ^_^

my aunt told me about these adorable pictures from steelers nation of bassets who love the steelers. the basset in the top picture is named reese, which is funny because that's preston's middle name. the caption from that photo is cute:

debbie frank… writes: "our 5-year-old basset hound, reese, is a true steeler fan. in particular she loves to watch the bus do his thing. here is the 1st game reese worse her steeler shirt. the bus ran over the browns and we noticed [reese's] interest in the game. when the team needs a boost, reese will bark and run back & forth in the family room, encouraging her steelers to get motivated. reese has worn her shirt every game, and the steelers have won!"

the bus is going home~!

the steelers have won the afc championship, and now they are detroit-bound! they defeated the denver broncos 34-17, and they are the 1st team in over 2 decades to win 3 away games in order to make it to the super bowl. the steelers totally dominated this game. after the steelers' 1st couple of scores, the broncos never got within 10 points. the steelers have done so well this post season: beating the bengals to win the afc wild card game, defeating the colts even thought the steelers were a 9-point underdog, and leaving the broncos in the dust. hopefully the steelers will continue this streak on 5 february.
